Conficker Worm

With recent developments surrounding the Conficker worm, it is a good opportunity to make sure you are taking the necessary steps to protect yourself against this and other viruses. You will want to make sure you are up-to-date on the following items:

1. Windows Updates: install the latest updates via Windows Automatic Updates or by going to wwww.microsoft.com
2. Anti-virus software is active and up-to-date on every machine
3. A current backup of your database and any other critical files is saved on some type of external media or off-site backup service that can be easily accessed in the event your data is compromised
